Required Experience :

- 7 years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on Data Warehousing and Data Lake solutions.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing,



and supporting enterprise-scale Data Warehouse and DataLake architectures.
- Strong experience working with cloud-based database platforms in AWS and/or Azure environments.
- 4 years of experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL database administration, development, and performance optimization.
- Experience with MongoDB, Document DB, or other document-oriented databases.

Technical Skills :

- Deep understanding of Data Warehouse modeling concepts, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, dimensional modeling, and data governance best practices.
- Strong expertise in SQL query tuning, performance optimization, indexing strategies, partitioning, and database troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of database infrastructure, scalability, high availability, backup/recovery, security, and capacity planning.
- Experience designing and implementing standardized database frameworks, governance models, and best practices across enterprise platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Liquibase or similar tool for database version control, schema deployment, and change management.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines for database and data platform deployments using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
- Experience with cloud-native database services on AWS and/or Azure.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience defining enterprise database standards, reusable frameworks, and automation processes.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience working with large-scale data platforms supporting analytics and reporting workloads.




- Understanding of database monitoring, observability, and cost optimization in cloud environments.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive database modernization and standardization initiatives.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have :

- AWS and/or Azure Cloud Certifications.
