Senior Academic Counsellor – Sales & AdmissionsRoles & Responsibilities

- Drive student admissions and achieve monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.
- Counsel students and parents on suitable creative courses based on their interests, aptitude, and career goals.
- Manage the complete admission process from lead enquiry, counselling, follow-up, application, and enrolment.
- Handle leads through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, events, and other channels.
- Conduct effective follow-ups and convert prospective students into confirmed admissions.
- Explain course curriculum, fees, career opportunities, industry exposure, and program benefits.
- Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in the CRM.
- Handle student/parent queries and objections professionally to support decision-making.
- Coordinate with academic, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a smooth admission experience.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, open houses, and other student engagement activities.

Requirements

- Graduate or postgraduate qualification from a recognised institution.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in the education sector, preferably in an Academic Counsellor, Admissions Counsellor,



Education Counsellor, or Education Sales role.
- Proven experience in student counselling and admissions conversion with a target-oriented approach.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to understand students’ career aspirations and recommend appropriate courses.
- Strong follow-up, persuasion, objection-handling, and negotiation skills.
- Experience handling students and parents through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and basic reporting tools.
- Experience in creative education, design, fashion, animation, VFX, film, photography, interior design, UX/UI, or related courses will be an added advantage.
- Passion for education, student engagement, and achieving admission targets.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
