Electronics Helper – Job Description

Position: Electronics Helper / Repair Technician Assistant

We are looking for an Electronics Helper to assist our technicians in the repair, servicing, testing and maintenance of industrial, medical, hospital, laboratory, dental, physiotherapy, fitness, electronic and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior technicians in PCB, controller and electronic equipment repair.
- Help with dismantling, cleaning, assembling and testing electronic equipment.
- Assist in identifying electronic components such as ICs, resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, relays, connectors and sensors.
- Support technicians during PCB soldering, desoldering and component replacement.
- Handle and maintain basic electronic tools and testing instruments.
- Assist in testing SMPS, power supplies, control cards, PCBs and electronic modules.
- Help in repair and servicing of medical, industrial, laboratory, dental, gym and other electronic equipment.
- Assist with PLC, HMI, VFD/AC Drive, servo drive and controller-related repair work under technician supervision.
- Assist with installation, servicing and troubleshooting at customer sites when required.
- Maintain proper records of equipment received for repair, components used and completed jobs.
- Keep the workshop, tools and work area clean and organized.
- Follow safety procedures while working with electrical and electronic equipment.

Equipment Exposure

The candidate may get hands-on exposure to repair work involving:

Medical & Hospital Equipment: Patient monitors, ECG, X-ray, ultrasound/sonography, ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, autoclaves, hospital beds,



OT equipment and other medical electronics.

Industrial Electronics: PCB, controllers, SMPS, power supplies, PLC, HMI, VFD, AC/DC drives, servo drives, control panels and industrial automation equipment.

Laboratory & Scientific Equipment: Centrifuge, incubator, laboratory oven, water bath, analytical instruments and testing equipment.

Other Equipment: Dental equipment, physiotherapy equipment, gym/fitness equipment, EV chargers, solar inverters, hotel/restaurant equipment and various electronic machines.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical components.
- Basic soldering and desoldering knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to use a multimeter and basic electronic testing tools.
- Willingness to learn PCB and chip-level repair.
- Good troubleshooting attitude and practical learning ability.
- Ability to work carefully with sensitive electronic and medical equipment.

Qualification & Experience

- ITI Electronics / Electrical, Diploma Electronics, or equivalent is preferred.
- Freshers can apply if they have basic electronics knowledge and are willing to learn.
- Previous experience in electronics repair, PCB repair or equipment servicing will be an advantage.

Job Nature

Full time | Workshop + Customer Site Service

The candidate will work under experienced technicians and will have the opportunity to learn PCB repair, chip-level electronics, industrial automation, medical equipment repair and troubleshooting of various electronic systems.

Pay: Up to ₹13,500.00 per month
