About the Job
[MILELE] is a diversified group of companies operating across supply/trading vehicle, vehicle rental and sales , real estate, and property development sectors in the UAE. We are seeking a bilingual Paralegal / Junior Lawyer to join our in-house Legal Department. This role supports the Chief Legal Officer across contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution matters for the Group's portfolio companies.
The successful candidate will work on a high volume of transactional documents across multiple business lines and provide support across UAE courts and relevant regulatory bodies, making this an excellent opportunity for a driven junior legal professional to build broad expertise across, corporate, and commercial law in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Drafting & Review
- Draft, review, and redline Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Non-Circumvention/Non-Disclosure Agreements (NCNDAs)
- Prepare and review commercial agreements, supplier and vendor contracts, and service agreements across Group companies
- Support the drafting and review of Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), vehicle rental/lease agreements, and related transactional documentation
- Maintain and update the department's contract templates and precedent bank across all business lines
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Provide support on case files before UAE courts, including preparation of pleadings, evidence bundles, and court filings
- Assist with matters before the Disputes Centre and other relevant tribunals (e.g., traffic/vehicle-related disputes, commercial disputes)
- Liaise with external counsel and track case status, deadlines, and hearing dates
- Prepare case summaries, legal memoranda, and status reports for the Chief Legal Officer
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Support regulatory compliance and licensing matters for the BUSINESS UNITS
- Support AML/compliance documentation and record-keeping across the Group
- Assist with responding to regulatory complaints and inter-party disputes
General Legal Support
- Maintain organized legal files, contract registers, and correspondence logs across the Group entities
- Draft formal correspondence and legal letters in both English and Arabic
- Support the Chief Legal Officer on ad hoc legal research and administrative tasks
- Track corporate compliance deadlines (licenses, renewals, statutory filings) across Group entities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within a real estate, corporate group, or multi-entity commercial environment in the UAE
- Prior experience drafting MOUs, NDAs, and commercial/service agreements is required
- Working familiarity with SPA structures and general transactional documentation (real estate and/or commercial)
- Prior exposure to UAE courts proceedings is required
- Bilingual: fluency in Arabic and English strongly; solid written and spoken command of English is essential
- Excellent legal drafting and document review skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple entities' legal matters simultaneously
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-sector setting
Working knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks (RERA, DLD, Jafza, DET, MOHRE and general commercial/corporate compliance) is an advantage
