Job Details

Job Title: Senior SAP EWM Consultant

Experience: 6-8 Years

Module: SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

Platform: SAP S/4HANA

Job Summary

6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM.

Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA EWM implementation.

Good understanding of end-to-end warehouse management processes and EWM configuration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support SAP EWM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.

Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM solutions.

Conduct business requirement workshops and prepare solution designs.

Configure and support core EWM processes, including:

Inbound processing

Outbound processing

Warehouse operations

Physical inventory

Putaway

Picking

Packing

Goods movement

Configure EWM warehouse structures and processes based on business requirements.

Support integration of EWM with SAP S/4HANA and other relevant modules.

Work on cross-module integration with:

SAP MM

SAP SD

SAP PP

SAP TM

Other S/4HANA components

Perform EWM configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and solution implementation.

Analyze functional issues and provide appropriate solutions.

Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for required developments.

Perform:

Unit testing

Integration testing

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Regression testing

Analyze and resolve testing defects and production issues.

Support data migration and master data validation activities where required.

Participate in:

Cutover activities

Go-live

Hypercare

Production support





Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, configuration documents, and user guides.

Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams.

Work independently on assigned deliverables and manage priorities effectively.

Provide knowledge transfer and support to junior EWM consultants.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6-8 years of experience in SAP EWM.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM implementation.

Strong understanding of:

Inbound processes

Outbound processes

Warehouse operations

Physical inventory

Hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration.

Experience in EWM:

Integration

Testing

Troubleshooting

Solution implementation

Good understanding of cross-module integration in SAP S/4HANA.

Experience in requirement analysis and business workshops.

Robust experience in defect analysis and resolution.

Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with business and technical teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
