Job Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and automotive industry standards. This role drives continuous improvement, manages quality assurance activities, oversees audits and quality performance and works closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and high customer satisfaction.

The role is based in Mexico and requires relocation. Comprehensive relocation and visa support will be offered to the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the Quality team to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Develop and execute site quality strategies aligned with regional and global business objectives.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with automotive industry standards.
- Facilitate problem-solving initiatives using structured quality methodologies and tools.
- Define and implement quality standards for products, processes, and services.
- Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance metrics to support continuous improvement.
- Identify quality risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities through data analysis and testing activities.
- Maintain quality-related documentation, records, and reporting systems.
- Provide training and coaching on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Partner with suppliers to ensure incoming materials and services meet quality requirements.




- Drive continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing and support functions.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives through proactive quality management.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, auditors, and senior leadership regarding quality matters.
- Develop and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and specifications.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and products to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead corrective and preventive action activities and verify effectiveness.
- Participate in operational reviews and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal and external quality audits.
- Lead root cause investigations and closure of audit findings and non-conformities.
- Manage quality-related expenditures and support budget planning activities.
- Oversee calibration systems, testing equipment, and quality resource planning.
- Manage departmental structure, resource allocation, and capability development.
- Promote and sustain a customer-focused culture and high levels of product quality.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree,



or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Strong technical proficiency and understanding of manufacturing and quality systems.
- Ability to analyze data and create, review, and improve processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commitment to supporting and developing others to achieve their best performance.
- Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions, improvements, and performance metrics.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of quality assurance principles, processes, and standards.
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and training capabilities.
- Knowledge of automotive quality standards and methodologies, including AIAG, VDA, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Professional certifications such as CQI-11 and CQI-23 are considered an advantage.
- Completion of workplace safety and fire protection training.
- Quality management and quality auditing training.
- Compliance training.
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of core quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality excellence
