Role Description The Business Development Intern (BD Intern) role is a full time remote position responsible for supporting the growth of Mimyk's smart medical device solutions. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, identifying potential customers and partners, and assisting with lead generation initiatives. The intern will help prepare outreach materials, participate in customer interactions under guidance, and maintain records in CRM or similar tools.



The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to understand product offerings, gathering feedback from prospects, and contributing to reports and presentations that inform business development strategy.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and support business decisions.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to engage professionally with prospects and stakeholders.
- Experience or aptitude in lead generation and market research to identify and qualify opportunities.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools and basic proficiency with productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, CRM systems).
- Interest in healthcare technology, medical devices, or related fields; prior exposure to Medtech or startups is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow through on tasks in a remote full-time setting.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
