Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Executive – E-Commerce & Online Sales to handle customer enquiries, marketplace communications, lead follow-ups, and sales support through eBay and IndiaMART.

This role is suitable for candidates with 0–3 years of experience, including freshers who have valuable communication skills, customer-handling ability, and basic computer knowledge. Candidates with prior experience in e-commerce, customer support, telecalling, inside sales, IndiaMART, eBay, or online marketplace operations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Enquiries

- Respond to customer enquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and marketplace platforms.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product information.
- Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into sales opportunities.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with customers.
- Record customer interactions, enquiries, and follow-ups accurately.

eBay & E-Commerce Support

- Handle customer messages and emails received through eBay.
- Support product listing and catalog management.
- Monitor product listings and marketplace activities.
- Assist with online advertising campaigns and promotions.
- Track orders, enquiries,



and account performance.
- Review basic marketplace reports and identify areas for improvement.

IndiaMART & Lead Management

- Handle incoming IndiaMART leads, calls, and customer enquiries.
- Follow up with marketing and online-generated leads.
- Share quotations, product details, and other required information with customers.
- Coordinate with the sales team for order processing and customer requirements.
- Track leads from initial enquiry through follow-up and order confirmation.
- Maintain accurate lead and customer records.

Required Skills

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, email, WhatsApp, and internet applications.
- Good customer-handling and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers.
- Robust attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and target-oriented approach.
- Candidates with knowledge of IndiaMART, eBay, e-commerce, customer support, telecalling, inside sales, or online lead management will have an added advantage.
