Job DescriptionEnglish Communication & Soft Skills Faculty NNIPS Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata NJob Type: Full-time NWork Location: Kolkata, West Bengal – In person NNIPS Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata is looking for a seasoned English Communication & Soft Skills Faculty who can help students become confident, articulate and professionally prepared communicators. NWe are not looking for a conventional English literature or grammar teacher. We need an experienced trainer who understands how to teach English as a practical communication skill and can work with students of different proficiency levels. NKey Responsibilitiesn N Conduct practical classes in Spoken English and English Communication. N Improve students' fluency, vocabulary, pronunciation and sentence formation. N Help students overcome hesitation and develop confidence in speaking English. N Train students in professional communication and workplace English. N Conduct sessions in public speaking, presentations, group discussions and extempore speaking. N Train students in interview skills, self-introduction and professional conversation. N Conduct mock interviewsand prepare students for internships, placements and management trainee selections. N Teach professional email writing and basic business communication. N Develop students' grooming, body language, etiquette, personality and professional presence. N Conduct hospitality-related role plays and guest-interaction exercises.



N Identify weaker students and provide structured improvement and individual feedback. N Regularly assess progress in communication, confidence and presentation skills. N Coordinate with facultyand placement teams to improve overall industry readiness. NnCandidate Profile Nn Master's Degree in English, Communication, Linguistics, ELT, Education or a relevant discipline. N Preferably 5+ years of experience in English communication training, soft-skills training, personality development or professional education. N Excellent spoken and written English. N Clear pronunciation andstrong presentation skills. N Ability to teach students with varying levels of English proficiency. N Experience in hospitality education, aviation training, corporate training, IELTS/communication training or employability training will be an advantage. N Experience in interviewpreparation, grooming and personality development will be preferred. NnWhat We Are Looking For NWe need a teacher who canbring a visible improvement in students' communication and confidence. NThe successful candidate should be able to develop students who can: Nn Introduce themselves professionally N Communicate effectivelywith guests and colleagues N Participate in group discussions N Face interviews confidently N Demonstrate skilled grooming and etiquette NnThe emphasis should be on practical communication, confidence and employability, not merely textbook English. NSalaryn₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on qualification, industry experience and teaching experience.
