Job DescriptionContractual Appointment – Renewable Based on Performance NWe are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and academically accomplished Principal to lead and manage our Undergraduate College affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The Principal will provide academic and administrative leadership, ensure compliance with University and regulatory requirements, and drive excellence in teaching, learning, research, student development, and institutional growth. NKey Responsibilities: NAcademic Leadershipn N Provide strategic leadership for undergraduate academic programs in accordance with University of Mumbai guidelines. N Ensure effective implementation of curriculum, academic calendars, examinations, and assessment processes. N Monitor academic performance and promote continuous improvement. N Encourage innovative teaching methodologies, research, internships, and industry engagement. N Promote interdisciplinary learning and employability-focused initiatives. NnAdministration & Governance Nn Oversee the overall academic and administrative functioning of the Undergraduate College. N Ensure compliance with University of Mumbai, UGC, Government of Maharashtra, and other applicable regulatory requirements. N Coordinate with University authorities and statutory bodies. N Lead institutional and statutory committees. N Ensure effective management of college resources, infrastructure, and facilities. NnFaculty & Staff Management Nn Lead faculty and staff development initiatives. N Foster a professional, collaborative, and performance-oriented culture. N Oversee faculty performance, training, workshops, seminars, and development programs. N Ensure adherence to institutional academic and administrative policies.



NnStudent Development Nn Create a supportive, inclusive, and student-centric academic environment. N Promote co-curricular, extracurricular, cultural, sports, and leadership activities. N Strengthen mentoring, career guidance, internships, placement, and industry-interface programs. N Address student concerns and grievances effectively. NnQuality & Institutional Development Nn Drive initiativesfor academic excellence and continuous quality improvement. N Oversee accreditation, inspections, audits, rankings, and statutory documentation. N Develop and implement strategic plans for institutional growth. N Build partnerships withuniversities, industry, qualified bodies, and other institutions. N Promote research, publications, conferences, seminars, and academic collaborations. NnQualifications & Experience Nn Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university. N Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, as applicable under prevailing UGC and University of Mumbai regulations. N Relevant teaching and academic/administrative experience as prescribed by applicable UGC and University of Mumbai norms. N Experience in a senior academic or administrative leadership role in a reputed undergraduate college will be preferred.
