- Providing L2/L3 production support for mainframe applications, analysing and resolving application abends, DB2 issues, and CICS/IMS failures.
- Responsibilities include developing and enhancing programs using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM,CICS and performing batch job monitoring, restart/recovery, and performance tuning.
- The role also requires coordination with upstream/downstream teams during incidents and participation in release activities, code reviews, and deployments
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in mainframe systems such as IBM z/OS, COBOL, and DB2, along with programming languages like JCL and PL/1.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Solid troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve system performance issues.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
