Why we need this roleProvides technical expertise to IT Infrastructure Team on building, administering, supporting and maintaining solutions as directed and according to departmental policy.What you will doSupports the design, implementation, and maintenance of the technological foundation that supports an organisation’s IT systems. Focuses on providing the technical expertise to configure and optimise network components, servers, storage systems, and cloud resources to ensure seamless and secure data flow. Additional helps to troubleshoot complex technical issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration, and contributes to the development of infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.What we're looking for

Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:

•Supporting the Infrastructure Team to design, implement and maintain IT infrastructure components, including servicers, networks, storage systems, and cloud resources.

•Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to infrastructure components to ensure uninterrupted operations.

•Monitoring and optimizing the performance, security, and availability of IT infrastructure.

•Providing subject matter expertise to develop and execute infrastructure projects and strategies.

•Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing

•Contributing to the assessment and selection of vendors for hardware, software, and service provision.
