Job Summary:

- Understanding of IATF / ISO-TS 16949 requirements.
- Understanding APQP & PPAP requirements.
- Know how of AutoCAD or any other CAD software for Plant layout designing.

Main Responsibilities:

- Process layout for new products and plant launches.
- Process specification, considering technological & ergonomic improvements, meeting program assumptions.
- Specifications for manufacturing equipment & sourcing recommendation.
- Equipment build tracking, installation and proving out.
- Monitor and audit manufacturing best practices and standards in the plant.
- Functional support to project teams during project implementation phase.
- Investment detailing for current business and/or Engineering changes.
- Responsible for defining, monitoring and improving manufacturing capacity & capabilities
and support.
- Responsible for setting up procedures for manufacturing as per ISO/TS 16949 guidelines.
- New facility installation.
- Basic MOST study.
- Process improvement, OEE calc.
- PED, PFMEA, control plan, work instructions, check sheets, one-point lessons, visual aids, etc. preparation.
- Line balancing, NVA reduction.
- Layout & facility planning.
- PEMEA & control plan.
- Lean tools (SMED, poka-yoke, kaizen,



5s etc.)
- Capacity and resource planning.
- TAKT, OEE, Efficiency, Cycle Time calc.
- Productivity improvement.
- Project management.
- Work measurement - MOST, time study.

Specific Requirements:

1. EHS

- Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or
communicated in training.
- Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls.
- Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies.

2. Quality

- Apply, execute and maintain function related BOS issues.
- In addition to the above mentioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

3. Information Security

- Follow policy to ensure the information be safe EBS Requirement.

Education: B.E. Mechanical/Electrical/Polymer/Industrial

Work Experience: At least5-8 years work experience in Automotive/FMCG/Heavy industry Plastics and/or Metals (Plastics preferred). Must have practical experience in Lean basics, Process layout, SPC, 7 QC tools, PEMEA, VSM, Molding. Knowledge and programming of PLC will be preferred.
