Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Investment Technology team in Mumbai.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing and developing enterprise applications supporting investment operations, portfolio management, compliance, analytics, data platforms, and related financial technology systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python backend development and Vue.js frontend development, with the ability to independently own projects from design through production deployment.

Experience in investment management or financial services is preferred. Exposure to Generative AI and LLM technologies is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Python and Vue.js.

- Build production-grade backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and integrations using Python.

- Develop responsive and maintainable frontend applications using Vue.js.

- Own application features and projects from requirements and technical design through development, deployment, and production support.

- Integrate applications with APIs, databases, data pipelines, and enterprise systems.

- Troubleshoot application performance and production issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, testing, and documentation.

- Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Support modernization and continuous improvement of existing investment technology platforms.

- Maintain high standards for application performance, scalability, reliability, and code quality.

Required Skills





- 8 14 years of software engineering experience.

- Strong hands-on development experience with Python.

- Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js.

- Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.

- Strong understanding of full-stack application architecture.

- Experience with relational databases and data integration.

- Experience integrating applications across APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.

- Solid knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, testing, and deployment.

- Experience working with production systems and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

- Ability to independently manage technical deliverables and drive projects to completion.

- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Trading, or Financial Services.

- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.

- Experience with Snowflake or modern data platforms.

- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or AI Agents.

- Familiarity with AI frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI.

- Experience with vector databases and enterprise AI integrations.

- Familiarity with Java/JVM-based enterprise applications.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a strong hands-on engineer who can operate with minimal supervision and take complete ownership of technical deliverables.

The successful candidate will have deep experience building Python-based enterprise applications with Vue.js, strong full-stack engineering fundamentals, and a track record of delivering reliable, scalable production systems.

Experience within investment or financial technology environments will be highly valuable, while Generative AI experience will be considered an additional advantage.
