Position: Business Analyst - Capital Markets

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst - Capital Markets with strong functional and technical expertise in the Calypso Trading Platform. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge capital markets products, and end-to-end trade lifecycle processes across multiple asset classes.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, support implementations, and ensure successful delivery of Calypso-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to Capital Markets and Calypso implementations.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions within the Calypso platform.
- Work on configuration, customization, and enhancement of Calypso modules and frameworks.
- Support implementation and integration activities involving Calypso and associated systems/interfaces.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Assist in testing, UAT coordination, defect management,



and production deployment activities.
- Participate in release management and post-production support.
- Ensure smooth functioning of trade processing workflows and operational processes.
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting for business users.

Required Skills & Experience

Capital Markets Knowledge

- Strong functional understanding of Capital Markets concepts, terminologies, and trade lifecycle.
- Experience with Exchange-Traded and OTC products.
- Good understanding of Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office processes.
- Knowledge of multiple asset classes, including:
- Fixed Income
- Credit Derivatives
- Interest Rate Derivatives
- FX Options
- Commodity Derivatives
- Equity Derivatives

Technical & Functional Skills

- Ability to convert business requirements into Calypso technical solutions.
- Experience in system integration and interface handling.
- Understanding of software testing, deployment, and release processes.

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced, collaborative environment.
