Festivals From India is hiring on behalf of their client, ASIGN, for a Content Editor to create, edit, proofread, and format short- and long-form content for ASIGN’s website, social media, campaigns, and brand communication.

The role focuses on ensuring high-quality, accurate, engaging, and consistent content, while working closely with the Design, Marketing, and Product teams. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of content/editing experience, excellent English and attention to detail, strong research skills, and familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.

Requirements





Essential Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Communications, Literature, Marketing, or a related field.

- Excellent command of written English, including grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and proofreading.

- Strong understanding of content writing, editing, formatting, and digital communication.

- A relevant content portfolio demonstrating short- and long-form writing is preferred.

Essential Experience:

- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Content Writing, Editing, Formatting, Copywriting, or a related role.

- Experience creating and editing content for websites, social media, blogs, campaigns, and marketing materials.

- Experience working closely with Design, Marketing, and Product teams to develop and publish content.

- Hands-on experience using ChatGPT, Claude, or other Generative AI tools for content ideation, drafting, editing, and research.

- Experience with content management/review tools, fact-checking, and quality control is preferred.

- Good understanding of digital and social media content.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.

- Collaborative and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

- Adaptable, curious, and willing to learn and use AI and content tools effectively.

- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing is an advantage.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications: MA History of Art or MA Museology, Conservation of Art/Heritage, BFA/MFA, or MSc. In Chemistry from a recognised University Strong communication skills, with written and verbal proficiency in English Knowledge of at least one vernacular Indian language is ideal Competency in using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint Essential Experience: 3-5 years of experience, ideally with an art gallery, museum or a private art collection Prior experience working with mixed media, managing physical artworks Prior experience working for a structured company Key Personal Attributes & Skills: Creative individual with drive, sincerity and ability to work efficiently and accurately according to instruction Ability to collaborate and work with a team to achieve common goals Highly organised and detail-oriented with good observation skills Values of adaptability and sincerity are critical A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills Conscientious attitude with the ability to handle precious objects with care Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
