Festivals From India is hiring on behalf of their client, ASIGN, for a Graphic Designer to create visually engaging designs for ASIGN’s brand, social media, marketing campaigns, websites, and digital platforms.

The role involves developing creative concepts, motion graphics, animations, and digital assets, while maintaining consistency in ASIGN’s visual identity and brand language. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of professional experience, strong skills in Canva, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Motion Graphics, along with experience using Generative AI tools and a strong design portfolio.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Animation, or a related field.

- Solid understanding of visual communication, typography, colour theory, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, digital creatives, and motion graphics/animation.

- Candidates with relevant professional experience and a strong portfolio may also be considered instead of formal qualifications.

Essential Experience:

- Minimum 1+ years of professional experience in Graphic Design – Mandatory.

- Hands-on experience with Canva and Figma – Mandatory.

- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator – Mandatory.

- Experience creating designs for social media, websites, digital campaigns, marketing collateral, presentations, and other digital platforms.

- Experience in Motion Graphics, Animation, or short-form visual content.

- Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools for creative ideation and design workflows.

- Experience managing multiple design projects and delivering work within deadlines.

- Ability to translate creative briefs and ideas into impactful designs independently.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines.

- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with Marketing, Product, and Business teams.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications: MA History of Art or MA Museology, Conservation of Art/Heritage, BFA/MFA, or MSc. In Chemistry from a recognised University Strong communication skills, with written and verbal proficiency in English Knowledge of at least one vernacular Indian language is ideal Competency in using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint Essential Experience: 3-5 years of experience, ideally with an art gallery, museum or a private art collection Prior experience working with mixed media, managing physical artworks Prior experience working for a structured company Key Personal Attributes & Skills: Creative individual with drive, sincerity and ability to work efficiently and accurately according to instruction Ability to collaborate and work with a team to achieve common goals Highly organised and detail-oriented with good observation skills Values of adaptability and sincerity are critical A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills Conscientious attitude with the ability to handle precious objects with care Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
