Job Description

SS&C; Technologies is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to ensure application functionality, reliability, and stability.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Define end-to-end QA strategy, test plans, and release criteria.
- Develop and execute functional and integration test cases (both manual and automated).
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium.
- Monitor system stability and analyze test results to identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality releases.
- Document findings, quality metrics, bug tracking, and release reporting across engineering teams.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment.
- Prior experience or knowledge of wealth management or financial services (trading, investments, portfolios, compliance, etc.) is an added advantage.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

8+ years of QA experience, with strong expertise in test automation. Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium or Playwright) and API (Postman, Rest Assured). Robust debugging skills, with the ability to build test automation frameworks. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Ability to leverage AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate QA processes and activities.
