ROLE OVERVIEW

Black Trader is seeking an analytical Equity Research Analyst holding an active NISM Series XV Certification. In this role, you will perform deep-dive quantitative and qualitative research on global and domestic financial markets, prepare comprehensive valuation models, and assist in designing market insights and trading strategies for our platform users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct detailed fundamental and technical analysis on equity markets, sectors, and listed companies.
- Build, update, and maintain dynamic financial models (DCF, Relative Valuation, Scenario Analysis).
- Prepare market research reports, sector outlooks, trade ideas, and investment notes.
- Track macroeconomic indicators, corporate earnings, regulatory changes, and news announcements.
- Collaborate with technology teams to validate data accuracy for analytical trading tools on the platform.
- Ensure all market commentary and analysis fully comply with regulatory frameworks and SEBI/NISM guidelines.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or an MBA in Finance.
- Mandatory:



Valid NISM Series XV (Research Analyst) Certification.
- Proven work experience as an Equity Research Analyst or Market Research Analyst.
- High proficiency in financial modeling, balance sheet analysis, and numerical evaluation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for publishing research reports.
- Hands-on familiarity with trading terminals, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar financial tools is a plus.
