Role Description The Intern role at SustainSutra GreenTech is a remote position supporting sustainability consulting projects and internal research. Day-to-day tasks may include collecting and organizing data for GHG inventories, assisting with ESG reporting and documentation, and supporting the preparation of decarbonization roadmaps and energy audit summaries. The intern will help draft presentations, reports, and training materials for clients and internal use, and may participate in virtual meetings to take notes and follow up on action items.



The role offers hands-on exposure to sustainability practices in Indian industry, with guidance from experienced consultants and opportunities to contribute to real-world projects.
Qualifications

- Ability to conduct structured research and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to sustainability and climate topics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and client-facing documents.
- Basic understanding of climate change, GHG emissions, ESG concepts, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., ISO 14064, BRSR, GRI) is desirable.
- Proficiency with productivity tools such as spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software; comfort working in a remote, digital workplace.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a collaborative setting.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, economics, management, or a related field.
- Interest in industrial decarbonization, energy efficiency, and Indian regulatory landscape; prior internship or project experience in sustainability is a plus.
