Syncllusion Technologies Private Limited is a technology company focused on building digital products, enterprise applications, scalable platforms, AI-powered solutions, automation systems, and modern software products.

We are growing our product engineering team and are looking for a hands-on Backend Developer who enjoys solving real business problems and building reliable software from the ground up.

About the Role

This is a product engineering role rather than a position dedicated to one application or one business domain. The selected developer will contribute to multiple current and future products developed by Syncllusion.

Depending on business priorities, the developer may work on ERP platforms, LMS solutions, business applications, enterprise systems, customer-facing SaaS products, internal platforms, and new products that the company develops in the future.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.

· Design and develop secure, reliable, and scalable REST APIs.

· Design, implement, and maintain relational database structures.

· Implement business logic, workflows, validations, and application rules.

· Work with Sequelize / ORM and write efficient SQL queries.

· Implement authentication, authorization, roles, and granular permissions.

· Work with multi-user and multi-tenant application requirements.

· Develop data-processing, import, and bulk-operation functionality where required.

· Build and maintain background jobs and asynchronous processing where required.

· Implement audit trails, history, logging, and system-level tracking where required.

· Integrate third-party services and external APIs.

· Write unit, integration, and API-level tests as appropriate.

· Investigate bugs, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver reliable fixes.

· Optimize database queries, APIs, and backend performance.

· Work closely with frontend developers and product/technical team members.

· Participate in technical discussions, solution design, code reviews, and implementation planning.

· Take ownership of assigned backend modules and deliver them from requirement to completion.





· Contribute to multiple products and projects as company priorities evolve.

Required Technical Skills

· 2–5 years of relevant backend development experience.

· Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.

· Strong knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript.

· Experience developing REST APIs using Express.js or a similar backend framework.

· Good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

· Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or a similar relational database.

· Experience with Sequelize or another ORM.

· Understanding of database relationships, constraints, indexing, transactions, and data integrity.

· Understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC, and backend access control.

· Experience with Git and collaborative source-code management.

· Good understanding of API validation, error handling, security, and maintainable code.

Good to Have

· Experience building SaaS or multi-tenant applications.

· Experience with background jobs, queues, or asynchronous processing.

· Experience with Redis.

· Experience with Docker and cloud platforms.

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

· Experience with payment or third-party service integrations.

· Experience handling large data imports or bulk processing.

· Experience building reporting or analytics APIs.

· Experience with audit logging and activity/history systems.

· Experience with backend performance optimization.

Products & Technology Domains

The developer may contribute to different products and domains during their time with Syncllusion. Examples include internal company ERP systems, ERP products for customers, Learning Management Systems (LMS), business management applications, event management systems, customer-facing SaaS applications, internal tools, and future software products.

Previous experience in every listed domain is not required. Strong backend engineering fundamentals, problem-solving ability, ownership, and willingness to learn are more important.

Work Location & Working Model

· Location: Pune, Maharashtra.

· Work mode: Work From Office.

· This is an office-based position. The selected candidate is expected to work from the Syncllusion office.
