Role Overview

A confidential, high-volume regional digital commerce and consumer-services business operating across the GCC is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – ERP to lead its Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central environment and ERP team.

The role combines ERP leadership, technical architecture, enterprise integrations, production reliability and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Operations and Technology teams across a complex, high-transaction-volume workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Business Central ERP function and manage functional, technical and support resources.
- Own the reliability, scalability, architecture and continuous improvement of the ERP environment.
- Define and maintain the ERP roadmap, development priorities and technical standards.
- Ensure Business Central effectively supports Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain and related business processes.
- Lead the design and governance of integrations between Business Central and warehouse, order-management, commerce, payment and other enterprise platforms.
- Work jointly with connected-system owners to ensure end-to-end transaction integrity, reconciliation and reliable processing.
- Oversee Business Central configuration, development, extensions, releases and upgrades.




- Drive strong root-cause analysis, problem management and permanent resolution of production issues.
- Establish effective monitoring, exception handling, automation and reconciliation controls.
- Review customizations and integrations for maintainability, performance, security, scalability and upgradeability.
- Manage ERP vendors, Microsoft partners and specialist consultants.
- Strengthen documentation, support processes, knowledge sharing and internal team capability.
- Partner closely with Finance to support reliable financial processing and month-end operations.

Candidate Requirements

- 12+ years of relevant ERP experience, with substantial direct experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong experience leading an ERP team, Dynamics practice or complex ERP delivery function.
- Proven experience managing Business Central in a large, high-transaction-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of Business Central architecture, AL development, extensions and integration patterns.
- Practical technical knowledge of:
- SQL Server and database performance;
- job queues and background processing;
- APIs and enterprise integrations;




- transaction integrity and reconciliation;
- monitoring, logging and exception management;
- performance, scalability and automation.
- Strong functional understanding of Finance, Procurement, Inventory and Supply Chain.
- Experience with complex integrations involving WMS, OMS, e-commerce, payments or similar operational platforms.
- Experience in multi-company, multi-country or multi-currency environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, vendor management and team-leadership capability.
- Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in e-commerce, food delivery, retail, distribution, FMCG or other high-volume transaction businesses will be particularly relevant.

Experience gained within a Microsoft Dynamics partner or consulting organization is an advantage, especially when combined with responsibility for live production environments.
