Job Description

The Project Engineer I will implement projects offsite/on site and assist Project lead as necessary. The candidate should have a very solid career interest in Process Simulation.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will have a broad set of responsibilities encompassing the following:

- Responsible for executing OTS projects with project teams for end-to-end design & delivery for Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other customers
- Ensure implementation is done with respect to project standards and quality documents & final deliverable meets the functional specifications of the end user.
- Identify, advise, and incorporate modifications in simulation configuration.
- Attend project reviews with Customer & Interface with project leads and customers for raising technical queries.
- Strong understanding of Refinery Process and & Critical Section. Having hands on Simulation experience in modelling Distillation columns, heat exchangers, rotating equipment, Reactors, Furnaces, Turbines etc.
- Participation in quality process reviews.
- Ensure completion of projects on schedule and within the allocated budget with 100% adherence to quality.
- Drive product improvement, productivity & Self skill enhancement.
- Strong documentation, communication and customer handling skills.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such Chemical Engineering,



B Tech in chemical engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in Simulation Projects.
- Strong knowledge of Unisim Design and HYSYS for process simulation.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and programming languages like Python. (Preferred)

WE VALUE

- Simulation experience in either ASPEN/HYSIS/UNISIM both in Dynamic and Steady Sate simulation
- Experience in deploying Operator Training Simulator.
- Experience in plant operations.
- Experience in plant startup & commissioning.
- Configuration experience working on control systems, DCS / PLC / Safety Systems.
- Programming skills C Sharp, Dot net, Python, VB is an added advantage.
