Purchase Executive - Beauty / FMCG - Faridabad - 3-6 Years

Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 3-6 years of procurement experience in Beauty, Pharma or FMCG. The role requires strong negotiation, vendor management and market-pricing skills, along with hands-on experience in end-to-end procurement. The ideal candidate will be ownership-driven, commercially sound and confident in managing suppliers, purchase orders and material availability.

Responsibilities

Managing end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging and finished goods from requirement to delivery.

Sourcing and developing vendors for assigned categories and maintaining dependable supplier relationships.

Negotiating prices, payment terms and delivery schedules while optimizing procurement costs.

Comparing quotations and finalizing vendors based on quality, cost and delivery requirements.

Coordinating with Store and Production teams to ensure timely material availability and prevent shortages.

Tracking purchase orders, deliveries and resolving quality or quantity mismatches with vendors.

Maintaining purchase registers, PO trackers and vendor records in an accurate and audit-ready manner.

Coordinating with Accounts on invoices, payments and vendor reconciliation.

Monitoring market prices, supply risks and vendor performance and escalating concerns to the Purchase Head.

Requirements

Having 3-6 years of relevant procurement or purchase experience.

Having experience in Beauty, Pharma, FMCG or a closely related manufacturing environment.

Demonstrating strong negotiation,



vendor management and communication skills.

Having sound knowledge of market pricing, sourcing and commercial evaluation.

Demonstrating hands-on experience in purchase orders, quotation comparison and supplier coordination.

Having good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.

Possessing strong ownership, follow-through, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Holding a graduate qualification in any relevant discipline; procurement or supply chain qualifications will be an advantage.
