Job Description

- We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Lead with 15 to 20 years of expertise in managing and supporting SAP landscapes across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- The ideal candidate should have:

- Strong leadership skills.
- Extensive technical knowledge of SAP BASIS administration.
- Experience in driving SAP infrastructure transformation, upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end SAP BASIS administration for:

- SAP ECC
- SAP S/4HANA
- BW
- Solution Manager
- Fiori
- PI/PO
- Other SAP systems
- Lead BASIS support teams and ensure high system availability, performance, and reliability.
- Plan and execute:

- SAP installations
- Upgrades
- Enhancement Packs
- Support Pack implementations
- Kernel upgrades
- Lead SAP S/4HANA conversion, migration, and landscape transformation projects.
- Perform:

- System refreshes
- Client copies
- Transport management
- Landscape synchronization
- Monitor SAP system performance and optimize application and database performance.
- Manage SAP HANA database administration activities, including:

- Backup
- Recovery
- Replication
- Performance tuning
- Handle SAP security coordination, user administration, authorizations, and audit compliance in collaboration with security teams.
- Manage SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, EarlyWatch reports, and monitoring activities.
- Administer:

- SAP Fiori
- SAP Web Dispatcher
- SAP Gateway
- SAP Cloud Connector
- Work with cloud platforms including:

- AWS
- Azure
- Google Cloud

for SAP infrastructure management. * Coordinate disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and business continuity initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis for critical production incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, database, security, and application teams for project delivery.




- Mentor BASIS consultants and provide technical leadership across SAP programs.
- Drive automation initiatives using scripting and SAP administration tools.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, including:

- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Release Management
- Support SAP licensing, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP Certified Technology Associate or Professional Certification.
- Experience leading large SAP transformation programs.
- Exposure to SAP BTP administration and cloud integration.
- Knowledge of:

- SAP Focused Run
- Solution Manager
- Automation frameworks
- Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices is an added advantage.
