To handle day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely statutory compliance, and support the Accounts & Finance department in financial reporting and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
* Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.
* Prepare and verify sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes and credit notes.
* Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Perform bank, customer and vendor ledger reconciliations.
* Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
* Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
* Verify supporting documents and payment vouchers.
* Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
* Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliances.
* Prepare monthly MIS and accounting reports.
* Coordinate with purchase, sales, stores and other departments.
* Assist in internal, statutory and tax audits.
* Ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
* Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
* B. Com or equivalent qualification.
* M. Com / CA Inter will be an advantage.
* Good knowledge of accounting principles.
* Working knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel and MS Office.
* Knowledge of GST and TDS preferred.
Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
Experience in a manufacturing/pharmaceutical company will be preferred.
