Qualification:

- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS (Mandatory)

/n

- Valid Registration with the respective State Medical Council

/n

- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting

/n

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends

/n

Job Summary:

/n

The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is responsible for providing round-the-clock medical care to inpatients and emergency cases, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, and coordination with consultants. The role supports high-quality patient care while adhering to hospital protocols and NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities:

/n

/n

- Assess and manage patients in OPD, IPD, and Emergency under the guidance of consultants.

/n





- Provide immediate medical care for emergencies and stabilize patients before referral, if required.

/n

- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

/n

- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals for continuity of care.

/n

- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.

/n

- Ensure timely admission, discharge, and referral processes.

/n

- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and NABH standards.

/n

- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.

/n

- Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, and quality improvement initiatives.
