Key Responsibilities

AI & Application Development

- Build AI Agents: Design, develop, and deploy AI agentic applications, skills which interact with external software, multi-agent workflows, and LLM-powered solutions tailored for engineering workflows.
- Develop Web Apps: Create robust, scalable full-stack web applications utilizing Python and modern backend frameworks.
- API Integration: Design, build, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between web applications, AI models, and engineering software.

CAD & Engineering Tool Automation
- Automate 3D Modeling: Write scripts and programs to programmatically generate, modify, and manipulate complex 3D engineering models.
- Workflow Automation & Testing: Develop automated pipelines to push models into engineering simulation software and execute automated testing, stress analysis, or structural validation.
- Tool Integration: Leverage SDKs, APIs, and CLI tools of industry-standard engineering software to extract data and automate manual tasks.

Role Requirements

Technical Skills

- Programming: Robust proficiency in Python and its ecosystem (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).
- AI & LLMs: Experience building applications with LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex).
- APIs: Extensive experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Data & 3D Formats: Familiarity with handling geometric data, 3D file formats (e.g., IFC, STEP, IGES),



or spatial data structures.

Preferred Domain Experience

Direct experience using, developing plug-ins for, or programmatically interacting with at least one of the following engineering tools is highly preferred:

- Plant & Piping Design: AVEVA E3D (Everything3D)
- Structural BIM: Tekla Structures
- Structural Analysis: STAAD.Pro or IDEA Statica
- Mechanical CAD: CATIA v5

Soft Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3-6 years of professional experience in software engineering, AI development, or computational design.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Problem Solving: A strong analytical mindset capable of translating complex physical engineering rules into digital logic and software workflows.
- Communication: Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively alongside domain-expert engineers and product managers.
