Position Title: Executive Claim Assessor
Location: PAN India
Reporting To: Regional Manager
Department: Inspection - Claims

Objective:

- The objective of this role is to accurately assess motor accident claims by reviewing surveyor reports, photographic evidence, and supporting
- documentation to verify claim genuineness and determine the extent of vehicle damage. The position is responsible for estimating claim value with
- technical precision while ensuring all assessments are completed within defined TAT. The role also demands clear communication with clients and
- empathetic handling of end-customer interactions, ensuring a high standard of service quality, transparency, and customer satisfaction throughout the claims process.

Accountability:

• Review surveyor reports and validate the legitimacy of motor vehicle accident claims.

• Assess the extent of vehicle damage through photographs and documentation and determine the affected components.

• Estimate claim value based on damage evaluation and standard assessment methodologies.

• Deliver accurate assessments within stipulated TAT and maintain adherence to internal quality standards.

• Communicate findings, clarifications, and decisions effectively to clients, surveyors, and relevant stakeholders.

• Handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy, ensuring positive experiences for end customers.

• Maintain detailed and error-free documentation of assessments, data inputs, and case records for audit and compliance.

Competencies:

• Strong technical understanding of motor vehicle components, damage patterns, and claim assessment methodology.

• Analytical ability to interpret survey reports, validate damage, and estimate accurate claim values.

• Effective communication skills.

• High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies or potential fraud indicators.

Experience:





• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

• Practical experience in motor survey assessment, garage/repair estimation, vehicle inspection, or insurance claim evaluation.

• Languages: English, Hindi and regional languages.
