Job Description:

- Possess valuable knowledge of conventional and CNC machining processes, tooling, fixturing, cutting parameters, and machine shop operations.
- Oversee the fabrication of pressure and non-pressure components for supercritical, subcritical boilers.
- Ensure dimensional control, geometric tolerances, and compliance with engineering drawings during fabrication and machining stages.
- Troubleshoot issues related to machining, bending, distortion correction, plasma cutting, and fabrication processes.
- Supervise both unionized and contract workmen to ensure efficient manufacturing within specified timeframes and allocated resources.
- Prioritize safety, quality (First-Time Right), and housekeeping (5S) initiatives.




- Leverage knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate activities across various service departments, including outsourcing, quality control, machining, and welding.
- Familiarity with welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW, along with an understanding of different welding defects.
- Plan and monitor machining schedules, machine utilization, tooling requirements, and outsourced machining activities to meet delivery commitments.
- Embrace the continuous improvement philosophy of Kaizen and TPM.
- Proficiency in SAP and general computer operations.
