Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Retail XStore Development Consultant with strong hands-on experience in XStore POS development, implementation, customization, and integration. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java-based development, retail POS workflows, and enterprise system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, customize, and support Oracle Retail XStore POS applications.
- Work with XStore Architecture, XStore Office, POSLog, Extension Framework, business components, event listeners, and transaction workflows.
- Customize XStore JET UI, including screens, forms, dashboards, and user experience enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations with ERP, inventory, pricing, loyalty, customer, payment, and omnichannel systems.
- Participate in solution design, fit-gap analysis, impact assessment, code reviews, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
- Support SIT/UAT, deployments, upgrades, migrations, store rollouts, and post-production stabilization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams across global retail environments.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of overall IT experience, with hands-on Oracle Retail XStore POS development experience.




- Strong experience in XStore development, implementation, and customization.
- Good understanding of XStore Architecture, XStore Office, POSLog, Extension Framework, business components, event listeners, and transaction workflows.
- Experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, SQL, and Oracle Database.
- Experience with XStore JET UI customization and screen enhancements.
- Knowledge of retail processes, including sales, returns, exchanges, promotions, loyalty, inventory, and store operations.
- Experience in enterprise integrations and production support.
- Solid communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with XStore upgrades, modernization, and migrations.
- Familiarity with POSLog, DTX messaging, XOCS/SIOCS.
- Experience working on large-scale retail transformation projects.
