Web Developer – University

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and update the university website and web applications.
- Ensure website content, notices, events, departments, courses, and other information are updated regularly.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web pages for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain website security, performance, and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website errors, bugs, and technical issues.
- Coordinate with departments to collect and publish accurate website content.
- Integrate online forms, admission portals, ERP, payment gateways, and other required systems.
- Optimize websites for search engines (SEO), speed, and mobile compatibility.
- Perform regular website backups and support data/content management.
- Monitor website traffic and prepare basic analytics reports.
- Follow university branding, design standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Coordinate with IT and external vendors for hosting, domain, SSL, and technical support.
- Ensure timely completion of web development projects and assigned tasks.
