About the Role

We're looking for a full-time Video Editor based in Gurugram who can turn raw travel footage — from our trips, expeditions, and creator collaborations — into Instagram Reels and YouTube content that stops the scroll and makes people want to book. You'll work closely with our Content Strategist to bring scripted reels to life and give a cinematic feel to real trip footage, often shot by interns or on-ground teams, not studio setups.

What You'll Do

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and short destination films from raw trip/expedition footage
- Work from scripts and shot direction provided by our Content Strategist
- Turn imperfect, real-world footage (varied lighting, shaky handheld shots from interns/guides) into polished, engaging content
- Create quick creative variations of the same reel for testing what performs best
- Handle color correction, sound/music syncing, and motion graphics to give a consistent, elevated brand feel
- Use AI tools (auto-captioning, quick audio cleanup) to speed up turnaround




- Maintain an organized file/footage management system — clear naming conventions and folder structure — so raw and edited assets from multiple trips/creators stay easy to find and reuse

What We're Looking For

- 2–4 years of video editing experience, ideally with travel, lifestyle, or social-first content
- A strong portfolio of reels/shorts you've personally edited — real examples, not just software knowledge
- Proficiency in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of After Effects — able to add motion graphics (animated text, transitions, simple overlays), not just cut footage
- Comfortable with fast turnaround — reels often need to go out within a day or two of footage coming in
- Understanding of what makes the first 3 seconds of a reel stop someone from scrolling
- Bonus: familiarity with AI editing tools (Descript, CapCut AI features)
