Long-Form Video Editor (Remote) | Mintmedia House About us Mintmedia House is a Mumbai-based creative studio making YouTube long-form, UI animation and launch videos for creators and funded startups in the US and Europe. We work from detailed client briefs and SOPs, and we care about retention, pacing and polish. The role You'll turn raw talking-head footage (often 30+ minutes with retakes) into tight, high-retention YouTube videos of 8 to 15 minutes. That includes story structure, pacing, text animation and motion graphics. You'll work from client SOPs in Notion and take feedback from our creative lead.

What you'll do Build a clear story from raw footage by cutting retakes, dead air and weak takes, and ordering ideas into a clear hook, body and payoff. Edit hooks that earn the first 30 seconds, starting with proof or tension rather than preamble. Pace A-roll with purposeful punch-ins, B-roll, SFX and music so there's no visual stagnation. Animate kinetic text, roadmaps, lower thirds and simple graphics in After Effects, matched to each client's fonts and colors. Follow brand guidelines exactly, including typefaces, palettes, spacing and do/don't rules. Deliver 1080p review drafts, apply revision notes quickly, and export 4K finals. Keep project files organized so anyone on the team can open and understand them.

Requirements At least 2 years of editing experience, with long-form YouTube work preferred.

Robust storytelling instincts: you know why a cut works, not just how to make it.

Advanced Premiere

Pro skills, including multicam,



audio cleanup, color correction and nested workflows.

Solid After

Effects skills, including keyframe easing, graph editor, text animation and templates. Familiarity with Deep Glow, Flow and Flow Curves is a strong plus. A portfolio with at least 2 long-form videos you edited, with timestamps showing your best work. Reliable internet, a machine that can handle 4K timelines, and your own licensed software. Clear written English and responsiveness during overlapping work hours (IST). Nice to have Experience with finance, trading, business or education creators. Sound design skills and a personal SFX library.

Experience with Notion, Slack, ClickUp and Frame.io.

Compensation and terms ₹25,000 per month, fully remote, on a contract basis.

Expected volume: [X videos per month]. Paid trial task before onboarding. Growth into higher-paying international client work for strong performers.

How to apply Send your portfolio link, the 2 long-form videos you're proudest of (with your role in each), your current monthly availability, and one line on how you'd make a boring talking-head video engaging. Applications without a portfolio won't be reviewed. For the trial task, I'd send a 5 to 10 minute raw clip with a mini brief (fonts, colors, one reference video) and ask for a 60 to 90 second hook plus opening section. That tests story judgment, pacing and AE polish in a single piece.
