About the Role

KDM India is looking for a highly creative, trend-driven AI Content & Video Editor who understands modern internet culture, short-form storytelling, cinematic editing, and AI-powered content creation.

We are specifically looking for someone who has previously worked with an Electronics, Tech, Gadget, Mobile Accessories, FMCG, or FMCD brand and understands how to create high-performing commercial and social-first content.

The ideal candidate should be deeply updated with the latest AI trends and creative tools, with hands-on experience using AI for content ideation, video generation, editing, visual enhancement, storytelling, and workflow optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality content for:
- Instagram Reels
- YouTube Shorts
- Product commercials
- Founder-led content
- Campaign videos
- Social media advertisements
- Create engaging, fast-paced, social-first video edits designed to capture attention and drive engagement.
- Use AI tools and platforms to improve content quality, ideation, production speed, and creative workflows.
- Experiment with AI-generated visuals, video generation, voiceovers, effects, and other emerging creative technologies.
- Stay updated with:
- AI content and video trends
- Viral internet trends
- Gen Z content culture
- Social media algorithms
- Emerging editing styles and formats
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media, Marketing, and Creative teams for content planning and execution.
- Take ownership of projects from raw footage/idea to final delivery.
- Ensure all content follows brand guidelines while maintaining a fresh and contemporary visual style.

Editing & Creative Tools

Strong command over

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- CapCut
- Adobe Photoshop – preferred

AI Tools & Platforms Hands-on experience with AI creative tools such as:
- Higgsfield
- Claude
- Genspark
- ChatGPT
- AI video-generation platforms
- AI image-generation and enhancement tools
- Other emerging AI creative platforms

Creative Expertise

Strong understanding of

- AI-generated video workflows
- AI-assisted storytelling
- Short-form storytelling
- Viral content formats
- Cinematic editing
- Motion graphics
- Transitions and visual effects
- Color grading
- Sound design and music selection
- Social-first content creation

- Experience working with fast-paced B2C / consumer brands.
- Understanding of performance marketing and social media creatives.
- Ability to independently conceptualize and execute video content.
