Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor Internship based at Poornima University in Jaipur. The intern will assist in planning and executing video production for academic, promotional, and campus event content, including pre-production tasks such as storyboarding and asset preparation. Daily responsibilities include editing raw footage, trimming clips, adding transitions, titles, and basic effects, as well as syncing audio and optimizing video for various digital platforms.

The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics integration,



and collaborating with the marketing and communications teams to align videos with brand guidelines. The intern will be expected to manage project timelines, organize media files, and support continuous improvement of video quality and storytelling.

Qualifications

- Foundational skills in video production and ability to support planning, shooting, and organizing footage.
- Strong video editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, audio syncing, and applying transitions.
- Experience or interest in video color grading to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent look and feel.
- Basic proficiency in motion graphics and graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements.
- Familiarity with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred.
- Attention to detail, creative storytelling ability, and a solid sense of visual composition and pacing.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and student teams.
- Currently enrolled in or recent completion of a relevant program (e.g., Media Studies, Design, Film, Communication) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
