To oversees the productive flow of goods, information, and finances from raw material procurement to final product delivery while coordinating with suppliers, manufacturing plant and distributors to meet customer demands

 Supply Chain Manager: Oversee the entire supply chain, develop strategies to optimize efficiency, manage budgets, and coordinate with various stakeholders.

 Procurement Specialist: Should have understanding and experience of sourcing and purchase raw materials, negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement. Build strategic suppliers for packing material. Understand the various activities and implications of imports and fulfilment of advance licenses.

 Logistics Coordinator: Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods, ensure timely delivery, and optimize logistics costs.

 Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, manage stock replenishment, and minimize excess inventory of raw material, packing material and Finished Products.

 Demand Planner: Predict future product demand, create demand forecasts, and align supply chain activities with market needs. Identify minimum quantities of raw material and packing material to be kept so that economies of purchase and continuity of production can be maintained while balancing the working capital. Do ABC analysis of stocks.

 Product Launches & Collaboration: Partner with business teams (R&D;, Production, Quality etc.) to support global product launches (in-house and CMOs).



Ensure timely delivery of final outputs within defined budgets and timelines.

 CMO: Build supplier base and Oversee procurement of CMO products at cost effective prices with continued high-quality product supplies. Ensure quality compliance of CMO-manufactured products through effective coordination with CMO partners, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional teams.

 Cross functional activities – Plant and manufacturing coordination: Ensure seamless collaboration between Supply Chain, Production, and Quality functions to achieve timely dispatch of products while maintaining compliance and service levels. Understand the plant capacities and ensure the plant is running at optimum capacities.

 Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chain such as supply shortages, supplier disruptions, regulatory changes and geopolitical issues. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address challenges and business continuity.

 Technology and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies and innovations in supply chain management software, data analyst and automation.

Competencies

 Hands-on knowledge and exposure related to procurement, logistics, commercial of related materials in pharmaceutical formulations industry.

 Awareness on domestic/International pharma regulatory guidelines on Supply chain management.

 Knowledge and understanding of industry 4.0 and its applicability in pharmaceutical industry.
