Company Description Netaji Eye Hospital is a 100-bed, rural-based, not-for-profit super speciality eye care center located in Ramchandrapur Ashram, Purulia, West Bengal, and operated by Sri Sri Bijoykrishna Ashram Relief Society, a registered charitable organization. For over 60 years, the hospital has served millions of economically disadvantaged and underprivileged rural, tribal, and urban eye patients from West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Odisha.

Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Project Coordinator based in Ramchndrapur, Purulia, West Bengal.

- The Project Coordinator will oversee planning, implementation, and monitoring of eye-care related projects and outreach programs,
- Ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Responsibilities include coordinating with clinical and administrative teams, managing project timelines and resources, documenting activities and outcomes, and preparing regular progress reports.
- The role involves liaising with partner organizations, community groups, and donors, organizing awareness camps or events, and supporting data collection and analysis to improve project effectiveness.
- The Project Coordinator will also assist in budget tracking, compliance with organizational policies, and continuous improvement of project workflows.

Qualifications





- Minimum 2-5 years Prior Working experience in a NGO Eye Hospital will be preferred
- Handling community outreach projects is mandatory
- Project coordination and management skills, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clinical teams, community members, and stakeholders.
- Basic data management and reporting skills, including documentation, record-keeping, and use of common office software.
- Ability to work and collaborate in a multidisciplinary, NGO environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, management, or a related field; prior experience in NGO or healthcare projects is an asset.
- Commitment to serving underprivileged communities, with sensitivity to rural and urban disadvantaged populations.

Remuneration & benefits

- The remuneration will offer between Rs. 30,000/--35,000/- depending up-on the qualification & professional working experience of the candidate.
