NWe are looking for an experienced and technically strong Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in CATIA V5 and automotive plastic component design. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing plastic components and assemblies for automotive applications, along with a solid understanding of styling feasibility, tooling, DFM/DFA, GD&T;, and engineering drawings.

NKey Responsibilities

- Design and development of automotive plastic components and assemblies using CATIA V5. N
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, master sections, and detailed engineering drawings. N
- Perform A-Class surfaceanalysis and evaluate styling feasibility for production. N




- Conduct tooling feasibility studies, including: N
- Draft analysisn
- Core and cavity feasibility N
- Slider feasibilityn
- Lifter feasibility N
- Ejection feasibility N
- Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles for injection-moulded plastic components. N
- Develop designs considering manufacturability, assembly requirements, quality, cost, and functional performance. N
- Apply GD&T; principles and ensure compliance with engineering and customer requirements. N
- Support DFMEA, FEA/MoldFlow analysis, testing, and validation activities. N
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including styling, tooling, manufacturing, quality, testing, and suppliers. N
- Incorporate design changes based on engineering feedback, validation results, and manufacturing requirements. N
