Sr. Technical Support – Life Science Instruments

Working Days: 6 days | 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM | 2nd Saturday off

BI Biotech India Pvt. Ltd. is a well-established Indian company and a major distributor of biological research reagents, consumables, laboratory equipment, and life science instruments.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Technical Support qualified with experience in laboratory/life science instruments to support technical enquiries, instrument quotations, tenders/GeM activities, sales coordination, and post-sales service requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical and application support for laboratory and life science instruments.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable instruments, configurations, accessories, and related products.
- Prepare technical-commercial quotations, offers, and instrument proposals.
- Handle tender and GeM activities, including technical documentation, OEM/supplier coordination, compliance documents, and bid submissions.
- Coordinate with sales, service, application, procurement, logistics, suppliers, and customers for smooth execution of instrument orders.
- Prepare Order Booking Forms and coordinate order processing, procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning.
- Handle quotations related to AMC/CMC, warranty, spare parts, accessories,



and service requirements.
- Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, tenders, orders, leads, and sales/service activities.
- Support lead generation, customer follow-ups, and sales/business development opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, market requirements, and customer feedback related to laboratory instruments.

Preferred Experience

Experience with laboratory/life science instruments, such as:

PCR / RT-PCR | Spectrophotometers | Microplate Readers | Centrifuges | Gel Documentation Systems | Electrophoresis Systems | Cell Counters | Imaging Systems | Protein Analysis Instruments | Laboratory Automation | Bioreactors | Other Research Instruments

Eligibility

- B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related fields.
- Experience in technical support, application support, instrument sales support, customer support, or instrument commercial coordination.
- Strong understanding of instrument specifications and applications.
- Experience with quotations, tender/GeM documentation, and customer coordination will be preferred.
- Good communication, documentation, follow-up, and MS Excel skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales reporting is an advantage.

Salary
