Sahasra Design House is a multidisciplinary design practice based in Hyderabad, with a portfolio spanning residential architecture, interior design, retail environments, and landscape design. Our work brings together thoughtful spatial planning, a strong design sensibility, and careful attention to how projects are built and experienced.

We are looking for an Architect who combines creative thinking with technical competence and takes responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of their work.

About the Role

n

The selected candidate will work closely with our partners and design team across multiple stages of a project—from concept development and design presentations to detailed documentation and execution coordination.

n

This role requires practical experience in Residential Architecture, Retail Design, and Interior Design, along with the ability to translate design intent into clear, coordinated, and buildable solutions.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop design concepts, layouts, and space-planning proposals in response to client requirements, site conditions, and project budgets.
n
- Prepare architectural and interior drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, working drawings, and construction details.
n
- Create accurate 3D models in SketchUp and compelling visualisations using Enscape.
n
- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes that clearly communicate proposed ideas.
n
- Develop details for cabinetry, joinery, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes,



and other architectural and interior elements.
n
- Research and recommend materials, finishes, fixtures, and products appropriate to the design and budget.
n
- Coordinate drawings and design requirements with consultants, contractors, vendors, and the internal team.
n
- Participate in site visits, review execution against approved drawings, and help resolve design-related queries.
n
- Maintain organised project documentation, track revisions, and meet agreed deliverables and deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

n

n
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
n
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, with a portfolio demonstrating work in residential architecture, retail design, and interior design.
n
- Robust proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape is mandatory.
n
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
n
- Sound understanding of space planning, proportions, materials, construction methods, and detailing.
n
- Ability to produce accurate, well-coordinated working drawings.
n
- Strong visual communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to manage assigned tasks independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
n
- Attention to detail, responsiveness to feedback, and a responsible approach to project timelines.
n
