Role Overview:

n

The Controller of Examinations is a senior academic administrative position responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all examination-related activities of the University. The role ensures integrity, confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of examination processes across all programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Plan, organise, and conduct end-semester, internal, supplementary, and competitive examinations.
n
- Ensure strict compliance with UGC, statutory, and university examination regulations.
n
- Oversee question paper setting, moderation, evaluation, result processing, and publication.
n
- Maintain confidentiality, security, and integrity of examination processes and records.
n
- Manage examination schedules, timetables, grading systems, and re-evaluation procedures.
n




- Supervise examination staff and coordinate with academic departments, IT, and administration.
n
- Handle examination-related grievances, audits, and regulatory inspections.
n
- Lead digital and automation initiatives in examination and evaluation systems.
n

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

n

n
- PhD in any discipline with at least 55% marks at the postgraduate level.
n
- Minimum 8 years of experience as Associate Professor in a university system (preferably in private universities).
n
- 5–10 years of experience as Controller of Examinations or in a senior examinations administration role.
n
