Designation: Senior Specialist - Automation & Innovation - Global Service Centre

Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai

Primary Purpose

To develop, test, document, and support automation workflows using approved RPA / automation platforms and other automation tools under the guidance of the Senior Automation Engineer / Technical

Lead.

Key Role Responsibilities

 Build automation workflows using approved RPA / automation platforms and tools.

 Support browser, desktop, Excel, file,



and system-based automation use cases.

 Convert process requirements into automation logic.

 Use selectors such as XPath, CSS, and Windows UI Automation to build stable automations.

 Implement basic exception handling, validation checks, retry logic, and logging.

 Support testing, debugging, UAT, and production stabilization.

 Maintain documentation, process notes, test evidence, and support runbooks.

 Use Git or the agreed version control process for automation assets.

 Collaborate with internal Senior Automation Specialists to understand business processes and exception scenarios.

 Learn approved RPA / automation platforms, orchestration concepts, and internal automation standards.

 Support the internal upskilling journey by working jointly with Senior Automation Specialists during development and testing.

Skills & Competencies:

 4-6 years of experience in building RPA or automation solutions.

 Hands-on experience in major RPA / automation platforms, desktop automation tools, or equivalent automation tools, or similar automation tools.

 Basic understanding of variables, conditions, loops, data tables, Excel automation, browser automation, and file handling.

 Exposure to selectors, UI elements, XPath, CSS selectors, or desktop UI automation.

 Ability to debug automation failures and fix basic workflow issues.

 Good logical thinking and process understanding.

 Willingness to learn approved RPA / automation platforms and open automation practices.

 Power Automate exposure.

 Power BI exposure.

 Excel macros or VBA exposure.

 Basic API or JSON understanding.

 Basic Git knowledge.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

 Exposure to RPA / automation platforms.

 Python awareness.

 JavaScript awareness.

 Agentic AI or AI-assisted automation exposure.

 Experience supporting unattended automations.

Success Measures

 Can independently build simple to medium-complexity automations.

 Can troubleshoot common selector, workflow, and runtime issues.

 Can follow automation standards and documentation practices.

 Can support UAT and production stabilization.

 Can work effectively with internal Senior Automation Specialists to transfer practical RPA knowledge
