Job Description:

n

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator (Postgres DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 10 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security.

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MSSQL databases.
n
- Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance for scalability and efficiency.
n
- Backup and Recovery:



Implement and test backup and disaster recovery plans.
n
- Cross-Platform Support: Manage databases on both Linux and Windows Server environments.
n
- Strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL
n
- Proficiency in SQL, shell scripting, and database monitoring tools.
n
- Solid understanding of replication, clustering, and high availability setups.
n
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
n

n

Valuable to have:

n

n
- Exposure to Postgress/ Mongo cloud database services (OCI).
n
- Familiarity monitoring tools like ops manager, Prometheus and Grafana, SolarWinds
n
- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
n
