Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced CDP Engineer to support a Customer Data Platform (CDP) as part of a broader Personalization Program. The role involves end-to-end CDP platform configuration, audience and segmentation development, journey/orchestration, integrations, enhancements, troubleshooting, and production support.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with CDP/MarTech platforms, Databricks, Delta Lake, AWS MSK/Kafka, Adobe Campaign Classic, REST APIs, and customer data activation.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and maintain CDP data models, audience segments, identity resolution, and activation logic.
- Build and maintain CDP integrations with Databricks/Delta Lake, including zero-copy data access patterns.
- Design and support event-streaming integrations using AWS MSK/Kafka, including external event publishing.
- Configure and maintain destination connectors for Adobe Campaign Classic, Airship, and Infobip.
- Build and support customer journeys/orchestration, including governance, suppression, and overlapping audience management.
- Support integrations with experimentation and personalization platforms such as Optimizely and Bloomreach.
- Develop and maintain engagement feedback pipelines, including delivery and engagement events flowing back into Databricks.
- Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable CDP configurations, segments, journeys, and technical solutions.
- Scope and deliver platform enhancements for new use cases, channels, audiences, and business requirements.
- Troubleshoot segment errors, audience synchronization failures, journey/campaign delivery issues, and data discrepancies.
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement appropriate fixes or workarounds.
- Monitor platform health, including sync jobs, journey executions, data freshness, and audience counts.




- Maintain technical documentation covering platform configuration, data flows, API contracts, integrations, and known issues/resolutions.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering, and vendor teams to define technical requirements and address platform gaps.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with a CDP or similar MarTech data platform, including configuration, activation, and production support.
- Robust experience in audience/segment building, identity resolution, and journey/orchestration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Lake, including Unity Catalog and data-sharing connectivity.
- Experience with AWS MSK/Kafka and event-streaming architectures.
- Strong REST API integration experience with marketing execution platforms such as ESP, push, and SMS providers.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign Classic, including workflows, campaign setup, and API-based integrations.
- Experience with API-first, composable architectures and connector-based integrations.
- Experience implementing or maintaining CDP Web SDK or similar JavaScript-based client-side event tracking SDKs.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work as a hands-on technical point of contact for business and marketing stakeholders.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Airship and/or Infobip.
- Experience with Optimizely, Bloomreach, or similar experimentation/personalization platforms.
- Experience in retail, membership, loyalty, or customer personalization domains.
- Experience supporting a live production CDP platform end-to-end.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams involving marketing, product, engineering, and external vendors.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a hands-on CDP/MarTech engineer who can independently manage platform configuration, customer segmentation, activation, integrations, journey orchestration, and production troubleshooting while collaborating closely with business and marketing teams.
