Role Description The Senior Accounts and Tax Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi. The role involves managing and reviewing accounting records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping in line with applicable standards and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling direct and indirect tax computations, assisting with tax planning, preparing and filing returns, and supporting GST and Income Tax compliance and assessments.

The associate will coordinate with clients on accounting and tax-related queries,



support audit and assurance engagements, and assist senior partners with documentation, due diligence, and advisory work. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams and clients to deliver timely, high-quality financial and tax services.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation to build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills and account management abilities to interpret financial data and oversee client accounts effectively.
- Clear and skilled communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions and internal coordination.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (direct and indirect), and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, GST and Income Tax filing platforms).
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CMA, or a commerce degree with specialization in accounting or taxation.
- Experience in audit, tax assessments, and working with chartered accountancy firms is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
