Role Description
n
TVC is looking for a Vice President – Investments to lead deal origination, execution, and
n
portfolio management across its investment portfolio. This is a senior investing role that
n
combines sharp analytical rigour with deep sector conviction — you will be expected to
n
independently source opportunities, lead diligence, and work closely with portfolio founders
n
post-investment to drive value creation.
n
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in venture capital or growth investing, a
n
genuine intellectual interest in energy transition and climate tech, and the ability to operate
n
with a high degree of ownership in a lean, fast-moving team. You will work directly with the
n
Founding Partners and play a meaningful role in shaping TVC's investment thesis and
n
portfolio strategy as the fund scales.

Roles & Responsibilities
n
Deal Origination & Pipeline
n
• Build and manage a robust deal pipeline through proactive outreach to founders,
n
accelerators, co-investors, and ecosystem networks
n
• Track emerging sub-sectors, technology trends, and policy developments in energy
n
transition to identify investment themes ahead of the curve
n
Investment Evaluation & Execution
n
• Lead end-to-end diligence on prospective investments — business model, market
n
sizing, technology assessment,
competitive landscape, team evaluation, and financial
n
analysis
n
• Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment
n
Committee with clarity and conviction
n
• Structure term sheets and lead deal negotiations in coordination with legal and fund
n
operations teams
n
Portfolio Management & Value Creation
n
• Support portfolio founders on strategic priorities — follow-on fundraising, hiring,
n
partnerships, go-to-market, and business development
n
• Monitor portfolio performance against key operating and financial metrics; flag risks
n
and opportunities proactively
n
• Facilitate introductions to relevant co-investors, customers, and ecosystem partners
n
within TVC's network
n
Thought Leadership & Fund Building
n
• Contribute to TVC's external thought leadership — sector reports, investment thesis
n
pieces, and panel participation
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- 6–10 years of experience in venture capital & growth equity.
n
- Prior exposure to energy, climate tech, infrastructure, manufacturing, industrials, or adjacent sectors
n
n
strongly preferred
n
• Demonstrated ability to independently source, evaluate, and execute investments end-
n
to-end
n
n
- Robust financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to synthesize complex technical
n
n
and market dynamics into clear investment perspectives
n
• Founder-friendly approach with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships
n
with portfolio companies
n
• Comfortable operating with autonomy in a small, high-conviction team
n
