Job SummaryThe RTO Executive will be responsible for coordinating and completing all vehicle registration-related activities with the Regional Transport Office (RTO), ensuring timely documentation, compliance, registration, and delivery support.
Key Responsibilities1. Handle end-to-end vehicle registration and RTO-related processes.
- Prepare and verify all registration documents before submission.
- Coordinate for recent vehicle registration, temporary registration and permanent registration.
- Ensure timely processing of Registration Certificates (RC).
- Coordinate with customers for signatures, KYC documents and other required documents.
- Upload and process vehicle registration documents through the relevant online portals.
- Coordinate with the Domlur RTO and other applicable RTO offices.
- Track pending registrations and follow up for timely completion.
- Handle hypothecation endorsement and cancellation processes.
- Coordinate for number plate and High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) requirements, wherever applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of all vehicles submitted for registration.
- Prepare daily and monthly RTO status reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Delivery and Insurance teams for smooth vehicle registration.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable transport and registration regulations.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and registration-related issues.
- Track RC dispatch and ensure proper handover to customers.
- Maintain records of RTO fees, taxes and related payments.
- Support management with MIS and pending-case reports.
Required Skills· Knowledge of RTO and vehicle registration procedures
· Familiarity with VAHAN and related online registration systems
· Good documentation and verification skills
· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting
· Strong follow-up and coordination abilities
· Good communication skills in English and Kannada
· Ability to handle multiple registration cases and deadlines
Qualification & ExperienceQualification: Any Graduate / Diploma
Experience: 1–3 years in RTO operations, preferably in an automobile dealership
Location Preference: Candidates familiar with Bengaluru RTO procedures will be preferred.
