About the Role

Brief Job description:

n

n
- Modelling and drafting various structures of Industrial, Residential, Defense, Public type of buildings in Tekla Structures environment.
n
- Finding solutions for various structures, constructing connections between elements.
n
- Candidate will be working with such as: cast in place concrete, precast.
n
- Candidate will be involved in different phases of project development, starting to: conceptual design, preliminary design, basic design, detail design, precast elements, reinforcement drawings for cast in place concrete, as-built documentation.
n
- Candidate will be developing solutions and modelling structures while collaborating and getting information from Architects, Project managers, Structural calculation engineers.
n
- Candidate at the same time will work in several various size projects including teams of 2 to 20 structural engineers working at the same project therefore a work planning, prioritization and coordination skills are required.
n
- Candidate should be able to understand a structural calculation reports and model the structures and connections according to such reports.
n
- Calculating a material quantities and preparing BoQ's.
n
- Ensuring that assigned tasks / projects are delivered on time, with quality and within given budget.
n




- Candidate will be communicating and coordinating activities with His/her team manager and members that are located in Lithuania, therefore candidate should have a very valuable English verbal communication skills.
n
- Analytical thinking skills.
n
- Candidate should demonstrate a proactiveness, orientation to result and ability to work in team.

Responsibilities

- Modelling and drafting various structures of Industrial, Residential, Defense, Public type of buildings in Tekla Structures environment.

- Education in building structural design

Required Skills

- Good skills in Tekla Structures software

- Education in building structural design

- Good English verbal skills

- Previous work experience in International company (preferably European company)

- Work planning, prioritization and coordination skills

- Ability to understand a structural calculation reports and model the structures and connections according to such reports

- Analytical thinking skills

- Proactiveness, orientation to result and ability to work in team

- Very good English verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

- It would be an advantage if candidate have knowledge, experience and skills to perform steel-steel, steel-concrete, concrete-concrete connections calculations and would be able to design connections according to forces taken out from general calculation model.
n
- It would be an advantage if candidate have experience / skill using RFEM Dlubal software.
