Candidate should have 1+ experience in US healthcare domain as AR Caller.
Role Description The RCM AR Caller – Experienced role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The specialist will handle accounts receivable follow-up with insurance companies, review outstanding claims, and initiate timely calls to resolve denials and underpayments. Daily responsibilities include analyzing claim status, documenting interactions in billing systems, updating account notes, and coordinating with internal billing and coding teams for corrective actions.
The role also involves monitoring aging reports, prioritizing high-impact accounts, ensuring adherence to compliance and payer guidelines,
and meeting productivity and quality targets. Collaboration with team members and supervisors to improve processes and contribute to overall RCM performance is an significant aspect of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare RCM processes, including A/R follow-up, denial management, and reimbursement workflows.
- Experience handling insurance calls (commercial, government payers), claim status verification, and resolution of denials or rejections.
- Proficiency with medical billing software, practice management systems, and basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
- Understanding of medical billing terminology, CPT/ICD codes, and payer policies; familiarity with risk adjustment and HCC is an advantage.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with payers and internal teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, manage workloads, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Prior experience as an AR Caller or in RCM for U.S. healthcare (typically 1–3+ years) preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts aligned to U.S. time zones, as required by business needs.
- Graduate degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline; healthcare, finance, or related fields are a plus.
